a perfect central gem
central location concierge team perfect attractions historic buildings
i adored how central the location was it allowed easy walks to museums and lovely restaurants the concierge team gave us great advice for dinner and lunch foodhallen was a true highlight the receptionist helped me find the best attractions she were really nice making sure my stay was perfect.
the stairs are steep this might be challenging for some guests with larger luggage or mobility issues this is a common aspect of historic buildings in this area so it's worth noting

the hotel offers complimentary hot drinks in the lobby a great perk after a day of exploring it really helped me relax and feel welcomed and the staff made sure there was always fresh coffee available.

the twin room balcony had comfortable beds pushed together as one with a lovely shower the bathroom was recently renovated and included travel kits it featured shampoo lotion and other essentials making packing easier

there are several good breakfast cafes near the hotel monk's is a great option and there is also a supermarket across the road i was able to easily grab croissants and coffee for a quick breakfast.

friendly staff complimentary beer large fridge
The staff was very friendly and super accommodating. I really appreciated the complimentary beer offered at check-in (a nice touch!). My room included a pretty large fridge and plenty of fans for the hot weather. Trams are accessible just outside, taking you right into the city.
The stairs were quite steep.

a VERY romantic getaway
easy access restaurant recommendation
the location offered easy access to museums. it allowed pleasant walks to various restaurants. the staff provided restaurant recommendations i needed. the hotel location offered access to local cafes.
the stairs WERE very steep. they might pose challenges for some guests with mobility issues. no elevator exists within the premises, which i think is not nice.

poor lighting small room
The location was acceptable. It was close to many restaurants.
The stairs were steep! and winding with poor lighting. the room was very small. The en suite door wouldn't fully open and it hit the bed.
